Seon Village Model Helper Dog 'Suni'

Seon Village (CEO Choi Hong-sik) of Hongcheon, Gangwon-do, is the representative wellness resort in Hongcheon, Gangwon-do. It announced on the 24th that it will introduce a new "Mung Meng School" program to help socialize dogs and provide special experiences for both dogs and their guardians.

Sun Village runs 'Mung Meng School'

The "Mung Meng School" is designed to learn how to socialize with other friends and experience various stimuli through a trekking course walk with "Suni," a helper dog who is an example of socialization. Since communication between dogs has limitations in human teaching, it is very important to meet with a well-socialized helper dog. Through this, dogs can naturally learn social skills.

"Suni" is interacting with other dogs on the puppy school program.

This program is not just a walk, but also provides an "oprish" environment where dogs can run around freely. In this safe and open space, dogs can develop their communication skills, and they can have a good time hanging out with Sun Village's mascot "Suni" and other dog friends. In fact, dogs who were unfamiliar with medium and large dogs also solved the awkwardness and matched well with each other from the middle of the "Mung Meng School."

The program begins with a brief explanation at the Healipet Ground, and ends with a walk on the 7-14 trekking course and then enjoying free play in the Healipet & Kids Zone. From shy or timid dogs to active dogs, all can participate, and it is free at 10:30 a.m. every Thursday to Monday at Hilipet Ground.

Sun Village Hillipet Room

Seon Village provides various pet-only facilities so that dogs and guardians can stay comfortably. The Hilipet shower room is a dedicated shower facility designed for dogs to rest comfortably after outdoor activities, and the Hilipet Dog Restaurant is an outdoor space where guardians and dogs can enjoy meals comfortably in an environment separate from the general dining space. In addition, the Hillipet & Kids Zone consists of a sympathetic playground where guardians and dogs can communicate together, such as dizziness, play, and one-point lessons, and build special memories.

Seon Village is making various efforts to improve the quality of life of companion animals by practicing the value of animal welfare. It does not provide a boarding service, and focuses on improving the mental health of dogs by creating an environment where guardians and dogs can communicate together 24 hours a day. In particular, it provides a trekking course where dogs and guardians can experience nose work while walking on dirt roads to provide healing, and provides special encounters with various animals such as dogs, cats and alpacas through the animal communication experience program "Hilipet Forest."

In addition, in Seon Village, you can consult and correct your dog's behavior through 1:1 one-point lessons with a dog behavior trainer "Pet Master." In addition, at "Mung Meng School" with Sun Village's mascot, Sun-i, dogs can learn how to communicate with friends and enjoy the fun in nature through trekking.

An official from Seon Village said, "We hope that dogs and their guardians will have a happier time through this 'Mung Meng School' program and various pet-only facilities," adding, "We plan to introduce a variety of programs for pets in the future."
